By registering for this event I agree that I will engage in a volunteer service cleanup or beautification activity, recognize and assume all risks and injury, hereby agree that the following agencies, the City of Columbus, Keep Columbus Beautiful, and all partner organizations and businesses will be held harmless, not be liable or legally responsible for any injury sustained by the participant, or for loss or damage to property owned or in the possession of the participant during or as a result of participation in this volunteer service cleanup or beautification activity. In no event shall the participant, or any of his/her/there contractors, workers, agents, or any third party with whom he/she/they contracts be considered the officers, employees, agents or other representatives of the City of Columbus, Keep Columbus Beautiful, or any partner organization or business. Each participant will be informed of suggested safety guidelines before said volunteer service cleanup or beautification project begins.
By registering for this event I agree that the tools and supplies provided to me by Keep Columbus Beautiful, are in good condition and that I hereby understand and agree to the following conditions pertaining to the care, use, safety and return of the tools I will receive. I completely and totally understand how to operate these tools in the safe and proper manner, and hereby assume all liability of any kind, resulting from the use of said tools.
To return all tools and supplies after the volunteer service cleanup or beautification project.
To use the tools and supplies only at the place of designation within the program area.
To notify Keep Columbus Beautiful and the Police if the tools are lost or stolen.
To be responsible for the safekeeping of all tools and supplies loaned to me by Keep Columbus Beautiful.
I will not assign or transfer the loaned tools or supplies to any other person, agency or company under any conditions.
I assume all responsibility and liability for any property damage that the use of these tools or supplies may cause.
I understand that failure to return the tools or supplies after the event will be a breach of this contract and the City of Columbus will take all appropriate measures to assure recovery.
